Community Livelihoods Improved

At CoSTO, we believe that lasting change begins when people have the means to sustain themselves and their families with dignity. Our Livelihood Program focuses on improving economic resilience and self-reliance within Tanzanian communities by creating
opportunities for income generation, entrepreneurship, and sustainable resource management.

This program empowers individuals — particularly women, youth, and vulnerable groups — with the tools, skills, and knowledge needed to build stable and productive livelihoods. Through practical vocational training, financial literacy workshops, and access to small
business development support, CoSTO helps participants unlock their potential and become active contributors to local economies. We work hand-in-hand with communities to promote sustainable agriculture, micro-enterprise development, and cooperative models that strengthen household income and food security. Our initiatives also encourage innovation in the use of natural and local
resources, helping communities adapt to the challenges of climate change and economic uncertainty.

Beyond economic growth, the Livelihood Program nurtures a spirit of empowerment and collaboration. It encourages community members to take ownership of their development journey and fosters social inclusion where everyone — regardless of gender, age, or
background — has an equal opportunity to thrive. Through partnerships with development agencies, government bodies, and private sector actors, CoSTO continues to bridge the gap between potential and opportunity. Every project we implement is a step toward a future where Tanzanians can live not just to survive, but to prosper.

By improving livelihoods, we are restoring hope, dignity, and stability — one family, one community, one generation at a time.
